The Competition Ordinance (the Ordinance) is now in full effect. It is now illegal when bidders agree not to compete on a tender. Bid-rigging cartel members – or those who support them – may face severe penalties under the Ordinance.
The Competition Commission has developed a series of educational materials to raise community awareness of bid-rigging and to educate on how to prevent and detect bid-rigging. Members of the public are welcome to download the materials.
